How you may use this site, and how we handle your data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / DSGVO). Last updated July 2026.
Terms of use
By using this site you agree to use it lawfully and not to misuse, copy, scrape, or disrupt it. The content, design, and branding here belong to Altura Velocity and are protected by copyright. We provide the site “as is”, without warranty, and may change or take it down at any time. Where we link to third-party sites, we have no control over their content and accept no responsibility for it.
Privacy at a glance
We keep this simple: we don’t use tracking cookies, advertising, or analytics, and we don’t sell your data. The only information we process is what your browser sends to load the page and whatever you choose to send us when you get in touch.
Who is responsible
The controller for data processed through this site is Altura Velocity. Our full registered details and how to reach us are in our Impressum ; for privacy questions you can also email info@alturavelocity.com .
What we process, and why
- Server log data. Our hosting provider automatically records technical data each time the site is requested: IP address, date and time, the page requested, and your browser and operating system. We use this only to deliver the site and keep it secure and stable (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest). These logs are kept briefly and then deleted.
- When you email us. If you contact us, we process your email address and your message to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep it only as long as needed to deal with your request and meet any legal retention duties.
- When you use the contact form. We process the name, email, and message you submit to respond to your enquiry (Art. 6 (1)(b) and (f) GDPR), and your IP address to protect the form against spam and bots via Cloudflare Turnstile. The message is delivered to us by email through our processor Brevo, an EU email provider; we don’t add you to any mailing list, and we keep it only as long as needed to deal with your request.
- Your language preference. Your language choice is stored in your browser’s local storage (the
av-langkey). It stays on your device, is purely functional, and is never sent to us.
Hosting
The site and the contact-form function are hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.), which processes the connection data above on our behalf as a processor under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). As Cloudflare runs a global network, any processing outside the EU/EEA is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the data we hold about you (Art. 15);
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16);
- have your data erased (Art. 17);
- restrict or object to processing (Art. 18 and 21);
- receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20); and
- withdraw any consent you’ve given, at any time.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77). To exercise any of these, just email info@alturavelocity.com .
